aves labs公司簡介：
aves labs位于加利福尼亞州戴維斯市，開發(fā)針對神經(jīng)特異性抗原和表位標簽的新型抗體試劑，以促進神經(jīng)科學和分子生物學界的科學進步。
aves labs由Gary Ciment和Fazilah Adam于1995年共同創(chuàng)立。當時，Ciment博士是俄勒岡健康與科學大學的細胞生物學教授，他的實驗室很難找到有能力和可靠的公司來定制雞肉多克隆抗體。他試圖制造一種針對高度保守的哺乳動物基因產(chǎn)物的抗體，兔子和小鼠都沒有產(chǎn)生針對人類同源物的有用抗體，這可能是由于高度的序列同源性。
在一次會議上與一位同事的交談說服了Ciment博士再次嘗試制造這種抗體，但要嘗試將雞作為宿主——雞在進化上與包括人類在內(nèi)的哺乳動物很好地分離。結果是顯著的：人類蛋白抗原具有高度免疫原性，抗體產(chǎn)量非常高，免疫試劑表現(xiàn)出高特異性的緊密結合。
